Caring for the community cats of Southport
Protecting and improving the lives of the community cats of Southport is what we are about. We are advocates for humane treatment of all feral cats and kittens.

The Friends of Southport Ferals is a 501(c) (3) non-profit community service organization staffed by volunteers and funded by donations. We are an action group formed to accomplish the following goals:
1. Identify all feral cat colonies in the Southport area
2. Rescue stray/homeless cats and relocate them to a colony
3 Recruit volunteers for the following needs:
maintain/care for colonies
help with trapping/transporting to Vet
care for after surgery
4. Plan/organize/participate in fundraising activities
5. Educate the community to the need/importance of cats in the community
